Guide to Pick-Your-Own Strawberries in Rhode Island

It’s finally starting to feel like summer, and that can only mean one thing… strawberry season is upon us! My family is obsessed with making strawberry shortcake in the summer and the only thing that makes strawberry shortcake better is freshly picked strawberries. This is great activity with kids, they love to help pick and as a bonus, you don’t have to pack snacks! It gets hot and sunny on the fields so don’t forget sunscreen and hats.

We’ve rounded up the details on some local farms that offer pick your own strawberries. We’ve added info on when the farms are beginning PYO, but things can change so always be sure to contact the farm ahead of time to confirm hours and availability.
